muslin
2008 July 27
I have ideas jumping in my head like fleas on a hot tin tray. Don’t yet have the skill to do some of them, but it is fun trying.
Take a piece of muslin. It’s really called cheesecloth here in the Old Country-designed for the purpose of straining the solids in milk from the whey when making cheese. But also known as muslin. I think it’s more openweave than American muslin? Might be wrong. But take a piece of cheesecloth/muslin and spend a happy hour in a summer garden, pulling threads.
And now it’s a grid and screaming to worked on.
Whilst I do that, here’s the finished postcard from the last post.

Your postcard is just gorgeous! Looking forward to seeing what happens next with the muslin
great postcard. and yes muslin is different in the US – more like homespun quilters cotton. we call it cheesecloth and/or muslin too.
That’s gorgeous that is.
Oh No! Yet another lovely blog page for me to keep a check on. Thanks for the welcome.
