long shadows fall
Sunshine pouring in through the window at the end of a perfect day. We harvested produce-beans and squash and raspberries, dug some ground ready for next season and later, I sat in the garden and worked some more on fenland.
I’m nearly finished with the surface embroidery -working quite heavily in this central swathe of the landscape. I think you can get a better idea of the trackways through the wheat now. There is a little more detail to add to this side and then I will add the little images that will be visible if you look carefully, if you know they are there, through the windows.
I viewed the piece from another angle-it reminds me of the view you might get if you were a bird flying over it. An airscape.

Sounds like the perfect way to spend the day, and we had such a lovely weekend weather wise too!
Sounds like you have a lovely day… very productive! ;0)
The track thru the wheat is great… it makes me want to follow it to see what is at the end.
wow, I love the way this is growing
It’s a delight to see this growing work.
It was a perfect way to spend the day, and I too love the way it is growing. Marty-I am walking the track, but I don’t want to reach the end, because then it will be finished. It feels like a good book-I both want to know what happens, but don’t want it to stop.
I am awed by your sense of color. I love the way this is taking shape. such wonderful textures! It is fantastic!
Judith – this is just fabulous. You are right – an aerial photo. Im so impressed.
