What I have seen is just beautiful. I hope there are other ways to get across the water when it is up so high and covers that little bridge. I went to your art quild site and boy are you lucky. The most fascinating fact I discovered was that the abbey was founded by Ela, Countess Salisbury on April 16th 1232. Yes 1232. In the morning. She founded another one in the afternoon. Now, there's a story. I will post more pictures of the Abbey in the future. It is a lovely place. Incidentally, some of the scenes in the Harry Potter films were made there.
